Sunrise Hill ski area is a spot I've been going to since I was a kid. It's a ski slope, going down from the tallest point in Bristol County, with a J-Bar tow lift to get you back to the top. I've never seen it in operation, but used to sled there every time it snowed.
Apparently, the single biggest operational problem that
that ski hill faces is a stream that runs across the flat part of the trail at
the bottom. It requires a lot more snow pack than average to keep it covered and
not puddle-like.
I needed these shots for an upcoming 'Our Abandoned Past' feature, so here they are.
