After seeing the set I posted last time from the Childs building, a local photographer friend of mine told me of how it was one of his favorite asylum buildings left standing. From what I had seen, I couldn't at all figure out why. On my next trip to the campus, I checked it out again, in search of why he enjoyed the building so much.
Turns out, in our rush from the setting sun last trip, we somehow skipped the entire first two floors of this building. Those floors, hold a ton of old medical equipment, barbers chairs, dental chairs, oxygen tents, exam tables, wheelchairs, as well as a ton of other stuff.
I now see why e enjoys this building so much.
